Strengthened experience design groups for medium segment products and design system

I worked at Sage between 2017 to 2020 leading the Medium Segment design team and established a team brining grassroot design system initiatives and foundation design work together.

Being an aquisition company, Sage has teams all over the world and indeed my group of 80+ designers, writers and product owners were spread over 12 countries.

Working with so many remote designers was an interesting personal growth opportunity and one that by chance prepared me for the global pandemic that forced us all to work from home. An expeirence that helped me immensely in my current job that I accepted at the height of the pandemic.

On a personal note, Sage was a great company to work for, but Brexit had a rather large personal impact on me and in 2020 I decided to leave UK and move back to Denmark, where Sage unfortunately didn't have an office.
